We urgently need your help to send two (2) young adults to the 2023 General Assembly meeting in Louisville, KY on July 29th - August 1st.  Participating at the Assembly in justice-related gatherings, events, and activities will provide these young adults with a crucial opportunity to further develop the knowledge, skills, and connections they need in order to become activists for greater justice, peace, diversity, inclusion, and ecological responsibility in their own congregations, communities, regions, and beyond.

As Christians, we are called to stand up for justice for all and to love our neighbors as ourselves. But none of us can do this alone or do it forever. We need current and future leaders who are equipped to continue to “run the good race” and “fight the good fight.”  And that’s why we so very much need your support to ensure that these young adults are among those prepared to lead the way, especially when many of us are no longer able to do so.

We believe that investing in the development and empowerment of our young adults is one of the most important things our friends, supporters and members can do.  By contributing to this crucially important effort, you will be helping to ensure a stronger future and a more secure continuation of our shared efforts to build a more just, peaceful, diverse, inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world for all God's people.

But time is running out. The Assembly is rapidly approaching, and we still need to raise a significant amount of money to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and registration fees for these young adults:  We need to raise $3000 by June 29th.

We urgently ask for your support in this extremely important effort by DJAN and our network of justice activists. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a big difference in the life of these young adults and the countless lives they will impact through their work for a more just, peaceful, diverse, inclusive, equitable and sustainable world.
