ELECTIONS 2020: LIVE PANEL ON VOTER PARTICIPATION

STREAMING LIVE ON

DJAN FACEBOOK & DC4PW FACEBOOK

Disciples Center for Public Witness (DC4PW) is partnering with DJAN to host a live panel on issues related to Elections 2020. It will be streamed live on both the DC4PW and DJAN Facebook pages at 1pm on Thursday, August 20th and be hosted by Sister Simone Campbell from NETWORK (Nuns on the Bus). The panel will include a representative from the League of Women Voters, a leader from Faithful Democracy, and activist-pastor, Dr. Eric Brown.  Dr. William Barber, II, co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, is also expected to speak at this event.  More details will soon be available on the DJAN Webpage and the DJAN Facebook page.

DC4PW is also launching an election-year project in partnership with DJAN. It is called FAITHFUL DECISION 2020, and will include helpful materials on voter registration, voter education, voter turn-out, and voter protection. More information on this is forthcoming on the DJAN website and our DJAN Facebook pageas well as on the DC4PW website and DC4PW Facebook page.
